Through BOCM Pauls we are able to offer a full ration service to enable you to include any home grown produce or bought in straights or bulk feeds. The important issue is to find the optimum balance in the many different areas of ration formulation – and then make the feed palatable! All stock types can be included in the Dietplan, whether high yielding dairy cows, young-stock or bull beef. Please download an example of a Dietplan.
Your grass silage is the foundation of successful feeding and it is vital you know what nutrients are available to your stock. We are able to analyse your grass silage as part of our comprehensive service. Please download an example of a Silage analysis.
The importance of knowing what is in your home produced feed is well understood by our customers. Our job is to make that easy for you. Please download an example of a Maize Silage analysis.
Please ask us if you need any tissue samples taken. This will be arranged for you as part of our comprehensive feed service.
On a fortnightly basis we will publish Grass Energy Levels, Grass Protein Levels and Dry Matter, during the appropriate season. As at 9th May 2010 Grass Dry Matter, in the Newcastle area, is averaging 21.1% and Crude Proteins are lower than the same period last year at 20.4%. Grass Energy levels average 11.9MJ/kg DM – a little better than last year. Check our website for more information soon.
